Is that the latest in hardback by her? I hope we get it in the US soon. I can't wait to read that one. I wasn't sure what the next title was from Bren's novels. Can't wait for this one. Going to check amazon now.

It is out now here. I can't wait but I think it will be a birthday gift for me. Might have to wait a little while for it. Let us know how good it is Jana. Hope you enjoy it very much. I love Bren.

I am also looking forward to this book. The trials and tribulations of Bren Cameron keep me very much amused.. I wonder if CJ is planning to kill off any of her main characters here?

Ah yes, I still haven't gotten beyond the first bit because I haven't been home early enough any night this week to read. But I hope to have time tomorrow to get into it. I'll let you know how it goes.

As to killing off main characters - I guess we'll see. :-)

I hope not Tabini. IS this story told by Tabini or Bren? I worried when it sounded like it was all about Tabini. I'd rather it be more Bren. I'm sure he has a big part in it though. Thanks Sandtiger for the news that this book is out. It would have gone by me. Thanks again. Bren is very amusing and that woman with the cane. I never can remember her name. lol

Really really liked Solstice Wood by Pat McKillip. She really does lovely stuff, and lately the themes of her stories have struck just the right chord with my sensibilities.

Fun that you read The Atevi books too Janny. I'm getting mine for birthday. Have to wait a little while and I need to finish two books I'm reading now anyway. I'm so glad to return to Bren though. I think Cherryh is the only sci fi author I read outside of Julie Czerneda. I don't read too many sci fi books but some catch my eye. Ilsidi is that the woman's name with the cane? lol

Janny,
Is Solstice Wood a fantasy? Please say a little more about it. Murder mysteries are good but I need to get back to a really good fantasy.
Thanks,
Frank
