Ahhhhhhhhgggg! The suspense is killing me!
Late 07.... *small wimper*...
Where's a time machine when you need one!
Ready to yell... ready to raise a glass of something alcoholic in your honor.
Delicious news, Janny, truly.
With only three lines to go - I am already opening the merlot! Here's to you Janny and all of us. (hey that rhymed
I'm with Anna on this one...Late 07
*runs off and cries*
*but then remembers how awesome it is that Janny's
virtually finished anyway...so runs back and
joins the celebration*
The loud yell is NOW.
The last sentence is drafted.
1176 pages in manuscript.
Ahhhhh! The relief is indescribable.
Tomorrow, a quick polish on the last scene, and off to test read.
Then - agh, the EDIT!
Well, that is the predictable part.
*YELLS REALLY LOUDLY BUT CANNOT THINK OF WORDS
TO DESCRIBE THE JOY ONE IS FEELING!!!*
As you wish, loud yell, lots of giggling too, and a wild burst of anticipation.
Oh, and the alcohol, too. ;)
SAME HERE...SAME HERE!!!
Can not wait to read it.
Wow...ye say ye're finished and everyone goes quiet...
Interesting...*ponders this phenomena*
I can't wait x3 and I promise to read this one barefoot.
I'm also reading back through the series, and I'm taking cross-referenced notes this time. ^^;; I feel like such a geek.
Can't wait to read it! (Now I have to wait till HC get their hands on it! Mwhahahaha!)
Janny, you have made a lot of people VERY happy
I'd like to send you a bottle of bubbly, and I don't expect you to give out your home address, so where would you like it sent?
Very heart-felt thanks once again, you're the best!
I'm sure my neighbours think something is wrong with the loud yell they just heard from me!
Happy dance! Happy dance! Happy dance!!!!!
Did I grin big enough for you?
Roll on end 2007!
So Stormed Fortress...
Finished Monday, October 16, 2006 - 09:28 pm
Does anyone remember when Janny started ? ;-)
I am still laughing with joy - and some of these responses made me snort with chuckles. (What the yelled at neighbors don't know...)
anything NICE can be sent to the contact address on this site - it's found easily in the Art Gallery contact page.
As for geek notes - mine are a rat's nest. I need a geek to ORGANIZE them, since most of what's needed is still in wetware.
I hope that Don takes pity on your poor weary self and takes you someplace relaxing for a few days... you know, like a nice calm Pirate reinactment...
At the very least, I hope he had the bottle ready with a nice supper for ya!
It doesn't work that way - when I finish a novel, I cook him breakfast....the rest of the year, it's cold cereal and fruit, unless it's his birthday, Christmas, our anniversary, or Valentine's Day.
We are, I think, slated for a rousing Pirate Reenactment next month. Anyone within reach of the Tampa FL area can ask about the details.
well done!! Snoopy dance, anyone?
Well I can wait, but that don't mean I have to like it; amend that, can't wait. (bubbling over with excitement, break out the tuna).
Oh, Janny, I was so pleased when I read your post - although late '07 seems cruelly far away! Congrats and enjoy your breakfast, well done!
I am starting a new re-read - and this time I too am taking notes, also cross-referenced, so that I can re-check things. The geek group gets bigger.......
YAY! Whoops with joy!
Wow, that's great news, Janny :D Congratulations! Round of rum and ale for everyone, just to kick off the pirate reenactment, heehee.
