An excerpt, you said? YES PLEASE!!!!! Even though my interest could not be more piqued than it is
Jeff, 'library edition' refers to the hardcover. When the UK publishes a book they usually do a small print run (2-3K) of hardcovers at the same time they do a larger print run of the trade paperback. They call the hardcovers library editions because they are 'intended' for libraries and collectors. FYI, the mass market paperback is printed at a later date.
Harper Collins UK finally decided to put the cover up, presumably that is the final version.
Beautiful cover. Can't wait!
Chapters.Indigo (Canada) has both the hardcover and trade paperback releasing on the same date - November 26th. http://www.chapters.indigo.ca/home/search/?keywords=Initiates%20trial&pageSize=1 2
I'd love it if that gets moved up to October.
