Posting Guidelines

This wiki is intended to function as an encylopedia. As such all entries should endeavor to deliver information and should avoid voicing opinions. The Janny Wurts Chat Area functions well as a forum to engage in discussions and share opinions with other fans of her work.

Posting can only be done by a logged in user. Anonymous visitors can read any of the pages but can not create new pages or edit existing pages.

To create a user account click on the 'Log in / Create Account' link in the upper right corner.

1. Allowed subject matter
   • Pages relating to the Wars of Light and Shadow novels, short stories, and artwork.
   • Pages for other books and short stories by Janny Wurts are also allowed.
2. Allowed content
   • Any originally composed text describing the subject matter.
3. Non-allowed content
   • Any text that appears in any of the books or any of the Paravia.com web pages or chat area discussions. Pages for these subjects is allowed but the text may not be quoted.
     • I.e., you may create a page for the city of Etarra. You may not copy the text from the glossaries in the books.
   • No images may be uploaded that violates copyright laws. Exceptions to this are cover images of the books. As I want these to have a standard look and feel please contact me for an image if you are creating a new page for a book.
4. Spoiler content
   • It is strongly suggested that entries that are involved in the story lines of the books should be subdivided into sections such that those events that occur within a specific book can be separate so that visitors reading the pages can avoid spoilers if they have not read the later books. Please check the Help section to learn how to create Spoiler tags.
